Saints Markella and Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church

Many heard the call and came out to help clean up the church, the chapel (old church), the hall, the shed, and church grounds.  It was a perfect fall day for a big clean up.  The chapel area had the old, old carpet remove to reveal a beautiful wood floor.  The loft required a lot of detailed numbing labor to remove all the staples (thanks Sam).  

Thanks to Carl and Sandy Trammel for getting us going, especially with the church grounds.  Thanks to the GOYA members who showed up in large numbers and did a lot of work on their day off from school.  Thanks to everyone who came out and pitched in; the church and associated facilities look great.

The 19th Annual Greek Festival will be coming to the Emerald Coast Conference Center on Labor Day Weekend.

Entry is $2 per adult, free for children under 11.
