Fr. Gabriel joined us in the Fall of 2009. He is here with his wife Monica, and two children, Rafael and Christiana. Fr. Gabriel received his M.Th. in Pastoral Theology from Babes-Bolyai University, in Cluj-Napooca, Romania, and a M.A. in Human Rights from North University of Baia-Mare, UNESCO collaboration. He is currently working on his Ph.D in Sociology from the University of Bucharest, Romania. Fr. Gabriel previously served at Saints Constantine and Helen Romanian Orthodox Church in Liburn, Georgia. Before that, Fr. Gabriel served as the General Director of the Child Protection Agency in Maramures County, Romania, and was an Associate Professor in the Practical Theology Department at the University of Baia Mare, Romania. He was ordained into the Holy Deaconate on April 7, 1993, and into Holy Priesthood on December 6, 1994.
